The hotel is located just off the main square in Assisi, making it a convenient base for exploring the town. The rooms offer an almost perfect view from the valley, especially those with balconies. The staff at this hotel are friendly and attentive, providing excellent service throughout the stay. The breakfast, served on the roof with the most spectacular view, is a great way to start the day.
All aspects of this hotel were satisfactory.

Located in a tranquil square next to historic churches, this hotel is perfect for sightseeing. The central location is near all the major highlights within walking distance. The spacious modern rooms come with a comfortable bed, mini-bar, and free Wi-Fi. The bathroom is sizable and features a huge shower. Breakfast is served in a cozy room and offers a decent spread. The rooftop terrace is a magnificent spot to discover amazing views of the city.
The hotel may not be suitable for those seeking complete silence, as it is situated in the city center and noise from outside could be heard at times.

The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the center of town near the churches. As foreign tourists, it was convenient for us to attend mass in the morning. The staff, especially Simone the director, were incredibly friendly and helpful. They even stored our luggage while we went sightseeing, making our stay more comfortable. The room was clean and cozy, with a lovely bathroom and hot water. The free breakfast was a great way to start the day, with a nice selection of continental options like toast, cake, yogurt, and more.
We felt so at home at Hotel Alexander, we had no complaints whatsoever.

The hotel's location was the best aspect, as it was conveniently situated just by the main square and close to all restaurants. Additionally, it was right in front of a church that was originally San Francis's parental house. The cleanliness of the hotel and the facilities provided were also exceptional. The breakfast served was delicious, and the staff was friendly and accommodating.
Nothing, all great.

Spectacular location, exceeded expectations. Front room with views of Basilica. Huge balcony overlooking picturesque courtyard. Helpful staff, made restaurant reservations. Freshly baked pastries for breakfast. Clean and roomy facilities. Stone's throw from major sites.
Nothing bad to say.

The location is amazing - just a few steps from all the restaurants and shops in the center of town. The staff were very friendly and supportive, always with a smile on their face. The rooms were clean, modern, and just like the pictures - spacious with a flat screen TV and a small, but functional bathroom. The breakfast on the roof terrace was fantastic, with a wide variety of options including pastries, cold meat, cheese, and a coffee machine.
The stairwells could use a good cleaning and the layout of the hotel needs reorganizing.

The hotel's location in front of a church, originally San Francis's parental house, is perfect for exploring Assisi. The hotel is right in the center of town, making it convenient to walk to most of the significant sites. The rooms are spacious, clean, and nicely furnished, with comfortable beds. The staff is friendly and helpful, making guests feel at home. The breakfast, served on the roof terrace with a beautiful view, is a delightful way to start the day.
The interior soundproofing of the hotel is not the best, meaning guests might hear noise from neighboring rooms or staff activities.

If you're looking for a hotel that offers great value for money, look no further than this gem in the heart of Umbria. With its ideal location just off the main square, you'll be within easy walking distance of all the sites Assisi has to offer. The rooms are well-equipped with double pane glass, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. Plus, you can choose between twin beds or a room with a nice view of the valley. And let's not forget about the breakfast - served on the roof terrace, it offers stunning views of the Umbrian countryside that will leave you in awe.
All was perfect, no complaints whatsoever.

The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect. It is just off the main square in Assisi, right in the center of town. Being in a medieval square adds a special charm to the experience. You can easily walk to all the sites and explore the town without any hassle.
All aspects of this hotel were really good.

The hotel is conveniently located in the center of all the action, with several churches just a stone's throw away. You can easily attend mass in the morning at the domed church next door, or visit the church where St. Francis grew up, which is just across the street. The rooms are spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and modern bathrooms. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast offers a good variety of choices to start your day.
The Wi-Fi connection is quite weak and unreliable.

Central Location and Complimentary Breakfast delivery to room
The hotel was located in the heart of the city with easy access to restaurants and key sights. The complimentary breakfast delivery to the room added a luxurious touch and allowed for a relaxing start to the day.
The beds were not comfortable, and the bedspreads were not changed between guests, which did not feel hygienic. The breakfast was quite limited, and there were no options for hot food.

A hidden gem in the heart of a picturesque town. I had the pleasure of staying at this charming hotel during my recent trip. The location was perfect, tucked away in a quiet square across from the historic church. The hotel's smaller size added to its charm, and my room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable, offering helpful advice and accommodating any requests. The highlight of my stay was the rooftop terrace, where I enjoyed a breathtaking view of the Umbrian countryside while savoring a delicious breakfast. Though there is no on-site parking, the hotel provided clear directions to a secure public car park nearby. The only minor drawback was the absence of tea/coffee making facilities in the room. However, the hotel's small bar offered a selection of hot and cold drinks. I highly recommend this hotel to fellow travelers.
